Did the social worker mention that you could have embryos of different genetic backgrounds transferred at the same time? So you could adopt single embryos from multiple families and have them transferred at the same time- therefore not decreasing your odds of pregnancy... Plus if, God Forbid-literally, one or more embryos does not survive the thaw, you would have others to use and not have to cancel the cycle and start over.
