Ornaments
The
very first tree ornaments were a display of God’s provision to his people. The
Christians hung apples, cookies, ect on their trees. They also displayed
candles around the tree to remind themselves that Jesus is the light of the
world; the candles were later turned into Christmas lights for safety reasons.
