we have a blog YEAH
Hi friends and family and whoever else ends up reading this,
jason and i wanted to start a blog of or lives as we journey with the love of christ through daily life, cystic fibrosis, an addition to our family of three and everything else that our Great God blesses us with. we invite you to journey along with us during the good, the bad and the ugly. please feel free to comment and save this site to receive updates. thegiftoftoday.com we are very excited to have a blog and thanks to some awesome people issah and mark they made this possible for us. this site is still so new to us so it will take a while for me to figure it all out and be able to use all it has to offer but in time i will get there.
the gift of today- we feel so blessed to have today on earth and with levi and feel that we dont know if we have tomorrow. cystic fibrosis has helped jason and i to really put eternity into perspective and be grateful for each day we have here. so that is our story behind the gift of today
so on with the updates
jason, the best husband and dad ever, is working very hard doing his normal job and then heading at night over to our place to help his dad do the remodel on our house that is in progress due to finding black mold. we are staying at dad and vic’s while our house is under construction which has been a huge blessing and levi sure loves his job of feeding the cat and dog over here. its the highlight of his day.
levi- he is doing really well right now and i know that they are expected to be a little healthier over the summer but we are delighted anyways. he has not been sick in 3 months PRAISE GOD. he is growing fast and talking so much. he is such a joy, the boy is just a walking smile we love it and feel so blessed by his presence. he was suppose to have a scan done on his liver and gall bladder to check on the status of his potential liver disease but they did blood work first and said that his numbers are looking better so they decided they will do an ultrasound in a few months instead. we are happy about this because it is one less thing levi has to go through. we have two doctors appointments set up for him in sept. we will keep you updated on him.
me and the baby- i am feeling better i dont feel sick anymore just tired but that could be from chasing a 2 1/2 year old around and maybe not even the pregnancy. i have a doctors appointment coming up and we should find out the date of the amino which should be in a few weeks. i am almost 14 weeks along. wow it is going fast. our due date is feb 18th. please continue to pray that this baby does not have cystic fibrosis.
thanks again for all of your continued support. i am excited to post pictures and the latest info on this blog. please feel free to send this on to anyone who i missed or that would be interested in reading it.
blessings,
kellie
