Mauli Ola Surf Event in Santa Monica
We are taking Levi to the Mauli Ola Surf Event in Santa Monica today. I’m sure it will be a blast. I’ll post pictures and videos later. Check out this great organization.
here are the pictures. it was a fun day! Levi charged into the water but then once he got in he was not real thrilled he wanted to get out he said he was a little bit scared of the waves. He loved surfing on the sand though which was fun for him.

Mark Gabriel was Levi's instructor. He was real nice!

He was very excited about all of the free stuff he got. actually I think we were even more excited to be honest. there were some great thing!

More summer fun!

Today we found the tattoo book and then it was decorating time. The boys and I got all inked up and we had great time. Levi gets so excited, well like he does with most things but this time he was so happy to tat up Tytus and I as well. We had some fun and then the boys ended up with sleeves. here are some pictures. We also decided to float through the living room in laundry basket boats and here are some fun pictures and videos of that. NEVER A DULL MOMENT WITH THE DAVENPORT BOYS and I’m so thankful for my little blessings! They make me laugh!

BIG NEWS!!!
Well family and friends we are officially announcing this to family, friends and probably even random blog readers. We were thinking through and praying about this and if it was something we should keep private but have decided not to because this is not our story but God’s and potentionally our new little addition or additions’ story. So here goes, for those who don’t know Jason and I have begun the process of adopting embryos. HUH??? some of you are saying? yes to answer your question you can do this and here is the process. We will be going through an agency called Snowflakes and Nighlight Christian Adoptions and it is an agency where families who have done in-vitro have extra embryos and they believe they are lives (which is what we COMPLETLY believe as well) and they want to make sure these babies have a chance at life and are not destroyed or frozen forever. So we are in the middle of all of the paperwork. We need to complete a homestudy as well and are working on it (wow those are a process props to all who have done those already). So here is how it works. We have submitted an application and are working on our homestudy paperwork as well as a family profile which will be sent to the genetic parents (which is chosen but Nightlight Christian Adoptions after prayer) they will submit our profile to a family that they feel would be a great match and the family will then review our family profile and see if they think we are a great match for them. If they choose us we are then sent their profile to decide if we feel they are right for us. This is such an exciting process please be praying that the first match is the best fit for us. We really want this all to be so obvious that the Lord is deciding and has his hand is in it all. So if all goes well and we are able to get our paperwork completed and submitted they say it usually takes 4-6 months to have the embryos implanted although it also says it could take 13 months so I’m guessing within the next year. So after the match is made embryos will be implanted and I will carry our adopted child or children (crazy and fantastic concept huh) AMAZING!! We are working on meeting with a fertility doctor to begin the medical side of this process. WOW there really is so much information. Maybe I’ll just break it down as we go through each step. So with all of this to say we are THRILLED to see what the Lord has for us as the Davenport family. If you would like to join us in prayer please be praying for the babies(embryos) that they would survive the thawing process as well as the implantation process. I believe we will be implanting 2 embryos. I honestly have never really thought about having twins but if we are implanting two embryos I want both to survive and the I know the Lord will give me the grace and paitence to handle twins
it really isn’t the twin factor that worries me it is having active boys like Levi and Tytus and then two babies. But like my sister said you didn’t think you guys could handle a kid with Cystic Fibrosis and look at you now. So yes with that advice she is absolutely right we know with God’s grace and with a little extra patience on my part we OF COURSE could handle twins and WOULD LOVE THEM both. So basically we are thrilled to have an opportunity to save lives which may not have ever had a chance to be born. Please also join us in praying that we would be able to save lives through this process and have a child/children who would be so blessed to have 2 amazing big brothers and two parents who will love them unconditionally. So as our journey beings or has begun we are so excited to see where this all takes us. If you have any questions please feel free to ask. This has been a complete learning experience for us and we are continuing to learn as we go. Thanks for your continued love and support and we embark on another journey in life. PRAISE GOD he is so good and we are thrilled to be his vessels.
Generosity and a true appreciation for our parents
I felt the need to write about this as my dad texted me on his way to Costco and asked if we needed anything and as he dropped off the rolls of papertowels and chicken and I tried to pay him and he told me papertowels were free today and not to worry about paying him and that hes got it covered. Earlier that day I had a converstaion with my mom about two cute dresses she bought me for no specifc reason, not for my b-day or for any holiday but just because that is my mom and the amazing nice things she does. so anyways with that to say i just wanted to post a blog about our parents and how generous they are and how much we appreciate them for that.
ill start out with my mom and don(my mom’s boyfriend) they are so giving and are very generous with gifts. since i was little anytime i went somewhere with friends and even now that i have a family i have never left my mom’s house empty handed she makes the BEST CARE PACKAGES EVER!! she always prepares us with packed lunches/snacks you name it and its in the bag she sends us with which has been such a huge blessing. not to mention if the sweater she is wearing or the shoes she has on would match our outfits better than what i was wearing i would also walk out her door wearing the clothes off her back or in carrie’s case the shoes on her feet (carrie and mom wear the same size) thanks mom for teaching me how to make care packages and prepapring bags for others it’s truly such a gift but i always look foward to yours so much more than mine because you always include the fun goodies along with the necessities. don has the gift of giving gifts basically 2/3rd of the toys we have at our house are from him he is very generous in gift giving as well as giving of his time and materials to help out on our house. Thanks mom and don we really appreciate your generoustiy.
AGAIN LET ME PREFICIT BY SAYING THIS IS NOT THE ONLY GIFTS OUR PARENTS HAVE THIS IS JUST ONE I WANTED TO WRITE ON TODAY AND JUST THANK THEM FOR THIS STUFF AND LET THEM KNOW IT DOES NOT GO UNNOTICE OR UNAPPRECIATED. THE LOVE AND SUPPORT OUR PARENTS HAVE FAR OUTWAYS ALL OF THIS STUFF BUT IT IS SO NEAT TO SEE NO WONDER JASON AND I HAVE HEARTS TO GIVE THIS IS DIRECTLY WHERE IT COMES FROM!!
on to dad and vic. for those of you who know them you know they love to throw bbqs and honestly feed so many people. sorry vic for so many years of not really giving you a number of exact people coming. now that i have hosted events i know that is helpful but she was always able to accomidate the extra 2-4-6 or maybe even 10 people i didnt even tell her were coming (those were my younger years during higschool taco tuesdays
she is always so generous in making meals and getting the kiddos clothes and toys. dad well, where do i start i have always admired his gift of generostiy not only to us but to SO MANY OTHERS he gives, gives and then gives some more. his compassion for others is such a great quality and gift he has given to me. thank you dad and vic for your generosity.
tom and frances these two people honestly are the best in laws a girl could ask for. i mean frances is like mom number two whenever she is around. before i can even finish feeding the kids breakfast she already has levi’s nebulizer parts washed, blakents folded and is working on sweeping up the mess from breakfast. she is such a servant and teaches me of the mother in law i desire to be to my boy’s wives someday. i can wake up from the nap i decided to take while the boys are sleeping to a clean house and my landry folded. the christmas gifts for you both of diapers and wipes honestly what more could a mom ask for than to not have to spend $50 dollars on those things that are a necesity but so hard to spend money on. I mean shoot they get pooped and peed on and then you throw them away. such a waste of money but a christmas/birthday gift that is such a blessing. tom ,wow tom he has been so geneorus with his skills and work poor guy can not come to our house without me having a papa to-do list of things to fix. this man can fix ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING! im so thankful he has taught jason so much but what jason is not able to fix we know toolbox tom can and he is so generous with our house i mean he did a ton of the remodel himself and paid for so much of it. tom and frances we are so grateful for your generosity.
here is my disclaimer to our parents and to all of you blog readers
it would take me days and days to write down ALL that our parents have done for us and given to us so honestly these are just one or two things each of them have done and like i said i could go on and on. so please parents dont feel bad if i left something out because we know you all have done SO MUCH MORE than just what i have written but take this post for what my heart intended by writing it is to THANK YOU all for all that you do the small and the big things and know that we appreciate every thing!! we truly say that from the bottom of our hearts and know that we are so grateful for your love, support and generosity. you guys mean the world to us!!! so THANK YOU!
Happy Father’s Day to my boys’ Daddy!
I just wanted to write a little post for Jason and just tell him how much he means to us. I know the boys absolutly adore him and I completly understand why. He is the most amazing man I know and has been such a huge blessing in our lives. Jason is always the first to give up anything and every thing for his wife and kids. Thanks Babe for being the best dad to our boys. Thanks for showing them what it means to be a Godly man, a humble man, an amazing husband and how to be the best daddy ever. I know he is even more than I could have dreamed of for the man who would be the father of my kids and I’m so thankful for him and how he leads by example. I hope you had a fantastic day I know the boys and I did. Thanks for loving us unconditionally! We love you! Happy Fathers’ Day!
Here is a video Levi made for Jason for Father’s Day.

Please pray for this family
I can only imagine what this poor mom is going through and that, I sometimes try not to do myself because it is so real to me and can hit so close to home but today I want to walk in her shoes and pray for her as I imagine walking in her shoes. She is broken and hurting and although I don’t know her personally it doesnt even matter I CAN PRAY and I WILL PRAY!! Please join me in praying for whatever it is you feel led by the Lord to pray for for this family. Thanks I know you would all do it for us so I’m asking now that you do it for them.
